How to use it
Its so easy to use…..….….
At the very bottom of FireFox , you’ll see a tiny little icon in the bottom right hands side of the browser window. In it’s unselected state it will appear greyed out as in the image above. By simply clicking on the tool will activate it as shown below.
Now with the Tool turned on, whenever you do a search on Google something different happens, and you will now see some View Keywords buttons now on the pages of your browser. this can obviously be turned off at any time by simply clicking again on the PPC Web Spy tool bar
Because this software primarily targets Adword campaigns and their Keywords used in the ads, it often will come back with a pop displaying that because the advertiser has not been advertising for longer than 45 consecutive days, no keywords have been collected, because in most cases, most websites that have not been advertising via adwords for 45 days are not websites that you should be consider monitoring, as they have not proved themselves to be profitable adwords advertisers yet!
When you view the Keywords of an advetiser who has been advertising for longer than 45 days, the pop window now displays some very powerful information of the adwords being used and all relevant information pertenent to it
What does all this mean ?
- Keywords – Just as it says, these are the keywords being use by the advertiser for this particular ad
- Position – The position the ad is currently ranked
- Avg.CPC – This is the Average price He (or she) is paying know as Cost Per Click
- Max.CPC – This is the Maximum price He (or she) was paying per click
- Click/Day – The amount of clicks per day form a given Keyword
- Cost/Day - His (or her) total cost per day for that keyword
For Example : –
if you look at the bottom you will see for the keyword ” Wordpress Themes” he is in position 4 of the page, and his average cost for this keyword is a little over $0.24, which is half of what he was originally paying as shown in the max.CPC of $0.50 when he first started this campaign.
And that ad is getting nearly 99 clicks per day, for that keyword, at a cost of $23 per day, so by that I would think he must be making some money from the use of that particular keyword
